Fun place but not very Hawaiian. Quite a long wait and a bit confusing ordering process.

There are four kinds of dish here. We picked the #4 Mix. It mixed butter and spicy. The meal is very delicious and worth to try.

Flavourful shrimps that goes well with Japanese rice. Big portion of shrimps and good view at the eat out.

The shrimp rice is very delicious, especially the source, and the shrimps are fresh. Most customers are Taiwanese(Why?). They provide free parking lot. However, it is a little expensive.

Foods not bad, but not the must in Okinawa. Full house with tourists and need to wait few minutes to take the meal.

Amazingly good shrimp and the beef was really tender too! Highly recommended

You can enjoy your Okinawa Fried shrimp with the great view. Don’t miss lemonade though

The food is okay but too pricy.Parking tip : you can always find a free parking area around. We paid 500 for a 40min parking... 普通好吃，有點貴。

Salute to the idea and taste, after a little waiting we get our fingers surrounded with absolute heavenly taste of shrimp with garlic and chili sauce, perfect portion of rice and delicate garnish.Well recommended!We paid 1800Â¥ and we order the mix no. 4 to share + "French" fries. Fries was also a great culinary experience, with seasoning from "I think" seaweed and salt.Yummy experience and really worth stopping for - worth waiting for..

The best yummy shrimp I like in Okinawa especially the garlic shrimp with butter.

Overall experience was pretty nice. The food was tasty. We ordered the garlic shrimp dish and a beer. Wish the shrimp was peeled, it still had the shell on it, where all the flavor is. Next time I'll have to order the garlic shrimp with butter to get more flavor. Portions were decent and enough for two people to enjoy an appetizer type meal. The scenery is gorgeous and definitely worth a trip in and of itself. Fantastic concept. Simple menu with less than a dozen items to choose from and the concept of a food truck/mini-restaurant is fantastic. The drive to the island is really nice.

Had to park at the dining terrace, walk 3 mins up the hill to the truck to order and collect, then walk back down where there is seating. But it was well worth the effort!

Great location overlooking Kouri Beach, and really picturesque shop too, with their original food truck part of their design concept. Food is really good, albeit simple. I personally like to add the beef for 500 yen on top of the shrimp rice. They have an annex a short walk away for additional seating, which really shows how much they have grown from just a food truck.

Better than north shore Oahu. Quality shrimp, excellent rice, and the facilities are spotless clean (unlike grimy Oahu)!

Little confusing to find a park at first but fantastic food

Our first time here! Delicious shrimp, a bit pricey and the butter didn’t quite melt over our shrimp!? But overall tasty. It’s become a bit of a tourist trap but they have expanded and have very clear parking signs! Really really appreciated the outdoor faucet to wash our hands!

The shrimp was juicy and delicious. I like that when you get the spicy shrimp, they give you the pepper flakes on the side to allow you to choose your level of spiciness. The canned tropical tea was an added bonus to the meal. The only downfall of the meal was that the shrimp had to be peeled but that wasn't enough for me to take a star away from it. Great food. Great view. And don't let the crowded location scare you, they have additional seating. An absolute must try (or a revisit) if you're on Kouri Island.

We'd better order original dish, because spicy is just original dish + a cup of chilli powder. Apart from that the taste is very delicious. Must try when arrival at Kouri Island.

Good viewing, the shrimp fresh and good taste.

The scenery was gorgeous and the staff was extremely friendly. What we did not like so much was it was like an hour before they closed and one worker started breaking tables down. Which is fine but she took the umbrella from the table while we were eating. At that point we finished eating in direct sunlight. It was a little rude she could of waited. I started to blow it off but we paid over 40 Yen for our meals. I think it is worth trying again but I hope someone from management takes notice of this review. Please don't push us out after spending money. I’ve dealt with that enough in my own country. That experience would of been perfect if not for that.

Delicious shrimp, some of the best you will find on the island. Great setup and fast service. There's plenty of seating in their dining location, which is about 100 yards from the shrimp truck. Beautiful location.

Great shrimp and rice at this unique restaurant at Kouri Island. A must visit if you come to Kouri Island. Need to park at the beach and walk there though since there are no available space for standard parking.

Order at second floor, and get your food on the first floor, all by yourself. There are 4 flavors for the shrimp, and you can add any side dishes or drinks. The shrimps are delicious, but a bit pricey. Free parking is provided miles beyond the restaurant.

Butter shrimp rice pretty good, can buy the food and enjoy the beachview at terrace!

Shrimps used were very fresh and portion decently generous - 8 medium sized shrimps in a box. Had the side order of beef which was very tender. Overall meal was tasty (a little salty after a while) but a bit pricey. Other flavours of the shrimp were more expensive which we could not understand why - was it additional shrimps to the original portion? Definitely a must-try but don’t eat too full as there are other good foods to try on the island! 😋

Is hard to find as the parking is down the way. But u will not miss this cute Van where the shrimps are prepared

Great casual place to have an easy meal. Menu options are limited and the shrimp was juicy, sided with plenty of rice. I shared two shrimp bowls with 2 more people, and it was just enough for the three of us. The seating arrangement is cumbersome though as we have to walk outdoors for 5 minutes from the kitchen to a separate building for seating. The shrimp was good, but it wasn't anything exceptional or unique. A lot of tourists. But if you don't have a specific restaurant in mind when visiting Kouri island, going to Kouri shrimp is a great safe choice.

I first visited this place about 5 or so years ago back when it first opened and was just a truck on the right side after the long bridge to Kouri island. The prices were a bit cheaper (not that they are outrageous now, based on the quality it is still a very good deal), I don't recall there being much English, and all the meals were served on paper plates. It was amazing then and it's still amazing today. When we arrived today after a beach trip a bit further north, we were blown away by just how much they have grown. Their new location is awesome! Great view, plenty of seating, kind smiling faces serving up the same delicious shrimp they always have. A few new additions to the menu, but the quality is all the same. Very happy to see they are doing so well and they even kept the shrimp truck!If you're in the area you have to stop by and give them a try.
